What information we collect

We collect the information you give us through our forms:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (when you provide it)
  • Your message or inquiry
  • Your preferred language
  • Your consent choices (for email and, if you check it, for SMS)

We also keep basic technical details from the form submission (date and time, the page you came from, and a protected version of your IP address) to maintain a record of your consent.

Separately from the forms, our site uses analytics and advertising cookies that collect data about your visit. We explain that in detail below, under "Cookies, analytics, and advertising".

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, send you the information you requested (such as our free guide), follow up with you about buying or selling a home, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information.

Text Message (SMS) Terms

  • Program: Sheryl Cury Real Estate Updates. You will receive text messages only if you check the optional SMS consent box on our contact form. We do not add numbers without permission.
  • Message types: market updates, property information, appointments, and follow-up on your inquiry.
  • Frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Costs: message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent is not required: giving consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase or of using Sheryl Cury's services.
  • How to opt out: reply STOP (or BAJA) at any time to stop receiving messages. You will get one confirmation message and we will not text you again. Reply HELP (or AYUDA) for help.
  • SMS privacy: we will not sell or share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How to opt out of emails

Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will honor your request promptly.

Where your information is stored

Your information is stored securely in the contact-management (CRM) systems and tools Sheryl Cury uses to serve her clients. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, for example email and messaging services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand it to other companies so they can market their products to you. The only advertising your visit feeds is ours, and we explain it below.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how our site is used so we can make it better. GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies to see which pages help and where visitors come from.

What this tool collects is general usage information, for example: the pages you view, where you came from (the link or search that brought you here), your approximate location, the device and browser you use, and some on-site actions, such as submitting a form or clicking to message us on WhatsApp or book a time on Calendly.

We also use Google Ads advertising cookies, which is what people call remarketing. In plain terms: if you visit this site, you may later see ads for Sheryl Cury when you use Google, YouTube, and other sites that show Google ads. Your visit can be added to an audience list built from the pages you viewed, for example the buying pages or the selling pages, so the ads you see relate to what you looked at.

We also use the Meta Pixel, Meta's advertising tool. It works in a similar way: if you visit this site, your visit can be added to a Meta audience, and you may later see ads for Sheryl Cury on Facebook and Instagram, related to the pages you viewed here.

We want to be clear about the limits of that, on both platforms. Those audiences are groups of visitors, not a file with your name on it: browsing the site does not tell us who you are, and we do not connect that browsing to your name, email, or phone number. We do not sell your information to anyone, and these cookies exist only to show our own ads.

How to turn it off, your call:

  • Google ads: turn off personalized Google ads at My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) or in Google ad settings.
  • Facebook and Instagram ads: adjust your Meta ad preferences in the Meta Accounts Center (accountscenter.facebook.com/ads), or in the app under Settings, Ad preferences.
  • Analytics: install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Everything else: control, block, or clear cookies, including advertising cookies, through your browser settings.

If we start advertising on other platforms later, we will update this page before turning it on.
